Less spreadsheet work.
Better reporting.
Practical spreadsheet and reporting support for small businesses and professional firms. Fix messy workbooks, automate recurring reports and turn scattered exports into information you can actually use.
Sydney-based · Remote across Australia · No confidential data needed for an initial quote
Fix the spreadsheet. Remove the repetition.
Use the simplest tool that solves the problem well. Sometimes that is Excel. Sometimes it is Power Query or Power BI. The objective is a reliable business process, not unnecessary technology.
Make the workbook work again.
Formula troubleshooting, workbook clean-up, structure fixes, data validation, consolidation and practical usability improvements.
Stop rebuilding the same report.
Power Query workflows, recurring weekly or monthly reports, CSV consolidation and repeatable data preparation.
See the numbers that matter.
Practical Power BI and KPI dashboards, plus rescue and improvement work on reports that are already in use.
Turn exports into usable data.
Clean, reshape and combine Excel, CSV and system exports so the next reporting step is faster and more reliable.
Your client stays your client.
Rows & Reports works behind the scenes when a client sends you an awkward spreadsheet, recurring reporting process or dashboard request that is technically fiddly and time-consuming.
You own the relationship.
You keep the communication, advisory role and commercial relationship. Rows & Reports completes the agreed technical work and does not directly solicit your client.
Start with one ugly spreadsheet.
Use one contained fixed-fee task to test the quality, communication and workflow before considering any repeat arrangement.
Protect senior advisory time.
Delegate spreadsheet repair, Power Query logic, consolidated reporting and dashboard production instead of absorbing specialist build work internally.
Fit into your process.
Reasonable NDAs and existing client security processes are welcome. The aim is to become safe technical capacity, not another client-facing layer.
Client data does not belong in random inboxes.
For confidential business work, the default approach is to minimise data movement and access only what is required for the agreed task.
Work in your environment
Where practical, Rows & Reports can work through your existing OneDrive, SharePoint, Google Drive or approved client portal rather than asking you to move sensitive information into a separate platform.
No raw-data AI workflow by default
Identifiable client datasets are not uploaded into AI tools as part of the standard workflow. Generic code, formulas, schemas and anonymised examples can be used instead.
Minimum data first
An initial scope or quote normally needs only a description, screenshots with sensitive details removed, or representative sample data.
No portfolio surprises
Client files, screenshots, logos and deliverables are not used publicly as portfolio material without permission.
Four simple steps.
Describe
Explain what is broken, manual or taking too much time. Real client data is usually not needed yet.
Scope
Agree the outcome, access method, fixed quote where practical and what “done” looks like.
Build
Complete the technical work using the agreed secure workflow and test it against the requirement.
Handover
Return the finished solution with a clear handover so the process is usable after the job is complete.
Got an ugly spreadsheet?
Describe the problem first. You do not need to attach the actual data.
Excel rescue jobs can start around $99. Larger automation and dashboard work is quoted to scope.
